How To Install debian-dad on Kali Linux

What is debian-dad

debian-dad is:

Debian’s Automated Developer (Dad) is a program preparing updates for Debian and derivatives’ packages automating repetitive tasks of human Developers.

The automated tasks include:

• updating packages to new upstream versions refreshing patches
• updating symbols files using Debian buildd logs

There are three methods to install debian-dad on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install debian-dad Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install debian-dad using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install debian-dad

Install debian-dad Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install debian-dad using apt by running the following command:

Install debian-dad Using aptitude
