Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install debbuild
on CentOS 7.
What is debbuild
debbuild attempts to build Debian-friendly semi-native packages from RPM spec files, RPM-friendly tarballs, and RPM source packages (.src.rpm files). It accepts most of the options rpmbuild does, and should be able to interpret most spec files usefully.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install debbuild
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install debbuild.
