How To Install ddpt on Ubuntu 20.04
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install ddpt on Ubuntu 20.04.
What is ddpt
ddpt is:
Copies files. Is specialized for cases where the source and/or destination is a storage device. Optionally can use a pass-through interface to issue SCSI READ and WRITE commands. Various sparse file and device handling options. Similar to and an extension of the Unix dd command. After updating apt database, We can install ddpt using aptitude by running the following command:

How To Uninstall ddpt on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the ddpt package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ddpt
Uninstall ddpt And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ddpt and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ddpt
Remove ddpt Configurations and Data
To remove ddpt configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ddpt
Remove ddpt configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove ddpt configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge ddpt
