How To Install dbus-x11 on Debian 9

What is dbus-x11
dbus-x11 is:
D-Bus is a message bus, used for sending messages between applications. Conceptually, it fits somewhere in between raw sockets and CORBA in terms of complexity.
This package contains the dbus-launch utility which is necessary for packages using a D-Bus session bus.

There are three methods to install dbus-x11 on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install dbus-x11 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install dbus-x11 using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install dbus-x11
Install dbus-x11 Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install dbus-x11 using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install dbus-x11
Install dbus-x11 Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install dbus-x11 using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install dbus-x11
How To Uninstall dbus-x11 on Debian 9
To uninstall only the dbus-x11 package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove dbus-x11
Uninstall dbus-x11 And Its Dependencies
To uninstall dbus-x11 and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove dbus-x11
Remove dbus-x11 Configurations and Data
To remove dbus-x11 configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge dbus-x11
Remove dbus-x11 configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
