How To Install dacco-common on Debian 10

In this tutorial we learn how to install dacco-common
on Debian 10.
What is dacco-common
dacco-common is:
The acronym DACCO stands for ‘Diccionari Angl?s-Catal? de Codi Obert’, or ‘Open Source English Catalan Dictionary’. In fact, the project hosts two dictionaries: an English Catalan dictionary and a Catalan English dictionary.
This package contains the xml files used for other projects, as Qdacco.
There are three methods to install dacco-common
on Debian 10. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install dacco-common Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install dacco-common
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install dacco-common

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install dacco-common
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install dacco-common
Install dacco-common Using aptitude
