How To Install d-push on Debian 10

In this tutorial we learn how to install d-push
on Debian 10.
What is d-push
d-push is:
D-push is debian’s rebranded version of zarafa’s z-push. It is an implementation of the ActiveSync protocol which is used Mobile, iPhone, Sony Ericsson and Nokia mobile devices. With D-push any groupware can be connected and synced with these devices.
This is a transitional package. It can be safely removed.
There are three methods to install d-push
on Debian 10. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install d-push Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install d-push
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install d-push

After updating apt database, We can install d-push
using apt

Install d-push Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude

After updating apt database, We can install d-push

How To Uninstall d-push on Debian 10
To uninstall only the d-push
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove d-push
Uninstall d-push And Its Dependencies
To uninstall d-push
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 10, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove d-push
Remove d-push Configurations and Data
To remove d-push
configuration and data from Debian 10 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge d-push
