How To Install cwdaemon on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install cwdaemon on Kali Linux.

What is cwdaemon

cwdaemon is:

Cwdaemon is a small daemon which uses the pc parallel or serial port and a simple transistor switch to output morse code to a transmitter from a text message sent to it via the udp internet protocol.

There are three methods to install cwdaemon on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install cwdaemon Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install cwdaemon using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install cwdaemon

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install cwdaemon using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove cwdaemon

sudo apt-get -y purge cwdaemon
