How To Install culmus on Debian 10
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install culmus
on Debian 10.
What is culmus
culmus is:
14 Hebrew font families. Contain ASCII glyphs from various sources.
Those families provide a basic set of a serif (Frank Ruehl), sans serif (Nachlieli) and monospaced (Miriam Mono) fonts. Also included Miriam, Drugulin, Aharoni, David, Hadasim etc. Cantillation marks support is available in Keter YG.
There are three methods to install culmus
on Debian 10. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install culmus Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install culmus
using apt-get
