How To Install ctpl on Rocky Linux 8

In this tutorial we learn how to install ctpl
on Rocky Linux 8.
What is ctpl
CTPL is a template library written in C. It allows fast and easy parsing of templates from many sources (including in-memory data and local and remote streaming, thanks to GIO) and fine control over template parsing environment. CTPL has following features * It is a library, then it can be easily used from programs * Separated lexer and parser * It is written in portable C * Simple syntax * Fast and strict parsing * Possible in-memory parsing, allowing non-file data parsing and avoiding I/O-latency, through GIO’s GMemoryInputStream and GMemoryOutputStream
We can use yum
or dnf
to install ctpl
on Rocky Linux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install ctpl.
Install ctpl on Rocky Linux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install ctpl
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install ctpl
Install ctpl on Rocky Linux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install ctpl
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install ctpl
How To Uninstall ctpl on Rocky Linux 8
To uninstall only the ctpl
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove ctpl
