How To Install crackle on Kali Linux

Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install crackle on Kali Linux.

What is crackle

crackle is:

crackle exploits a flaw in the BLE pairing process that allows an attacker to guess or very quickly brute force the TK (Temporary Key). With the TK and other data collected from the pairing process, the STK (Short Term Key) and later the LTK (Long Term Key) can be collected.

With the STK and LTK, all communications between the master and the slave can be decrypted

There are three methods to install crackle on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install crackle Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install crackle using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install crackle
