How To Install crack-common on Kali Linux

What is crack-common

crack-common is:

Crack is program designed to quickly locate vulnerabilities in Unix (or other) password files by scanning the contents of a password file, looking for users who have misguidedly chosen a weak login password.

This package provides the common files for the crypt() and MD5 versions.

There are three methods to install crack-common on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install crack-common Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install crack-common using apt-get by running the following command:
