What is cppzmq-devel

cppzmq is a C++ binding for libzmq. cppzmq maps the libzmq C API to C++ concepts. In particular, it is type-safe, provides exception-based error handling, and provides RAII-style classes that automate resource management. cppzmq is a light-weight, header-only binding.

Install cppzmq-devel on CentOS 8 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install cppzmq-devel using yum by running the following command:

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
