How To Install cppad on Kali Linux

on Kali Linux.
What is cppad
cppad is:
CppAD is a package for automatic differentiation (AD) of algorithms written in C++. Given appropriately written C++ code that computes a function, CppAD augments it to also compute derivative values. The system uses templates, supports forward and reverse accumulation modes, and allows nested derivatives.
This transition package helps with the move to libcppad-dev.
There are three methods to install cppad
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install cppad Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install cppad
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install cppad

After updating apt database, We can install cppad

Install cppad Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude

sudo aptitude update

How To Uninstall cppad on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the cppad
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove cppad

sudo apt-get -y autoremove cppad
