How To Install cpp on Kali Linux

What is cpp
cpp is:
The GNU C preprocessor is a macro processor that is used automatically by the GNU C compiler to transform programs before actual compilation.
This package has been separated from gcc for the benefit of those who require the preprocessor but not the compiler.
This is a dependency package providing the default GNU C preprocessor.
There are three methods to install cpp
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install cpp Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install cpp
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install cpp

After updating apt database, We can install cpp
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install cpp
Install cpp Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install cpp

How To Uninstall cpp on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the cpp
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove cpp

sudo apt-get -y autoremove cpp
Remove cpp Configurations and Data

configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
