How To Install courier-base on Kali Linux

What is courier-base
courier-base is:
The Courier mail transfer agent (MTA) is an integrated mail/groupware server based on open commodity protocols, such as ESMTP, IMAP, POP3, LDAP, TLS, and HTTP. Courier provides ESMTP, IMAP, POP3, webmail, and mailing list services within a single, consistent, framework.
This package provides the functionality needed by all courier packages such as some configuration files, helper programs and the Courier TCP server daemon.
Courier uses the a TLS wrapper application named couriertls instead of embedding TLS support in the different applications. Additionally, this package contains a default set of trusted X.509 root CA certs.
There are three methods to install courier-base on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install courier-base Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install courier-base using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install courier-baseInstall courier-base Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install courier-base using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install courier-baseInstall courier-base Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install courier-base using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the courier-base package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove courier-baseUninstall courier-base And Its Dependencies
To uninstall courier-base and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove courier-baseRemove courier-base Configurations and Data
To remove courier-base configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge courier-baseRemove courier-base configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove courier-base configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
