Coq is a proof assistant for higher-order logic, which allows the development of computer programs consistent with their formal specification. It is developed using Objective Caml and Camlp5.

This package provides CoqIde, a graphical user interface for developing proofs.

There are three methods to install coqide on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install coqide Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install coqide using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install coqide

Install coqide Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install coqide using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install coqide

Install coqide Using aptitude
