How To Install conky-std on Kali Linux

What is conky-std
conky-std is:
Conky is a system monitor that can display just about anything, either on your root desktop or in its own window. Conky has many built-in objects, as well as the ability to execute external programs or scripts (either external or through built-in Lua support).
This package should be a good compromise for most users that do not need special features. It includes the following support:
X11, XDamage, XDBE, Xft, MPD, MOC, math, hddtemp, portmon, wireless, ncurses, apcupsd, I/O stats, argb and Lua.
There are three methods to install conky-std on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install conky-std Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install conky-std using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install conky-stdInstall conky-std Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install conky-std using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install conky-stdInstall conky-std Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install conky-std using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install conky-stdHow To Uninstall conky-std on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the conky-std package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove conky-stdUninstall conky-std And Its Dependencies
To uninstall conky-std and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove conky-stdRemove conky-std Configurations and Data
To remove conky-std configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge conky-stdRemove conky-std configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove conky-std configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
