In this tutorial we learn how to install condure on Debian 11.

What is condure

condure is:

Condure is a service that manages network connections on behalf of server applications, in order to allow controlling the connections from multiple processes. Applications communicate with Condure over ZeroMQ.

Condure can only manage connections for protocols it knows about. Currently this is HTTP/1 and WebSockets. See Supported protocols.

The project was inspired by Mongrel2.

There are three methods to install condure on Debian 11. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install condure Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install condure using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install condure

Install condure Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install condure using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install condure

Install condure Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install condure using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install condure

How To Uninstall condure on Debian 11

To uninstall only the condure package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove condure

To remove condure configuration and data from Debian 11 we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge condure
