How To Install colorize on Kali Linux

Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install colorize on Kali Linux.

What is colorize

colorize is:

Colorizes text read from standard input stream or file by using ANSI escape sequences (and also vice versa, i.e. cleaning text from sequences) and prints resulting output to the terminal.

There are three methods to install colorize on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
