Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

How To Uninstall collectd-notify_desktop on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the collectd-notify_desktop package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove collectd-notify_desktop
