How To Install code2html on Ubuntu 22.04

code2html is:
Code2html is a perl script which converts a program source code to syntax highlighted HTML, or any other target for which rules are defined.
It may be used as a simple console program, converting a single source code file to a single output file, it can patch HTML files including special command sequences to insert syntax highlighted snippets of code, or it can be used as a CGI script.
There are three methods to install code2html on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install code2html Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install code2html using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install code2html

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install code2html using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install code2html
Install code2html Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install code2html using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install code2html
How To Uninstall code2html on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the code2html package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove code2html
Uninstall code2html And Its Dependencies
To uninstall code2html and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove code2html
Remove code2html Configurations and Data
To remove code2html configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge code2html
Remove code2html configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove code2html configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge code2html
