How To Install cobra on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install cobra on Kali Linux.
What is cobra
cobra is:
Cobra is a Go library providing a simple interface to create powerful modern CLI interfaces similar to git & go tools.
Cobra has an exceptionally clean interface and simple design without needless constructors or initialization methods.
This package contains the Cobra Generator as /usr/bin/cobra, a tool that will generate your application scaffolding to rapidly develop a Cobra-based application.
There are three methods to install cobra on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install cobra Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install cobra using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install cobraInstall cobra Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install cobra using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install cobraInstall cobra Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install cobra using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install cobraHow To Uninstall cobra on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the cobra package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove cobraUninstall cobra And Its Dependencies
To uninstall cobra and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove cobraRemove cobra Configurations and Data
To remove cobra configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge cobraRemove cobra configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove cobra configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge cobraDependencies
