In this tutorial we learn how to install cloudkitty-doc on Ubuntu 20.04.

What is cloudkitty-doc

cloudkitty-doc is:

CloudKitty aims at filling the gap between metrics collection systems like ceilometer and a billing system.

Every metrics are collected, aggregated and processed through different rating modules. You can then query CloudKitty’s storage to retrieve processed data and easily generate reports.

Most parts of CloudKitty are modular so you can easily extend the base code to address your particular use case.

There are three methods to install cloudkitty-doc on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install cloudkitty-doc Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install cloudkitty-doc using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install cloudkitty-doc
