How To Install cloc on Debian 10
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install cloc on Debian 10.
What is cloc
cloc is:
Count physical lines of source code in the given files (may be archives such as compressed tarballs or zip files) and/or recursively below the given directories.
Counts blank lines, comment lines, and physical lines of source code in many programming languages. It is written entirely in Perl, using only modules from the standard distribution.
There are three methods to install cloc on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install cloc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install cloc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install cloc
Install cloc Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install cloc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install cloc
Install cloc Using aptitude

How To Uninstall cloc on Debian 10
