How To Install clisp-module-clx on Kali Linux

What is clisp-module-clx
GNU CLISP is a Common Lisp implementation. It conforms to the ANSI Common Lisp standard, and offers many extensions. It runs on all desktop operating systems (GNU and Unix systems, macOS, Windows) and is particularly memory-efficient.
This adds a module to CLISP that implements an interface to the X11 called CLX.
There are three ways to install clisp-module-clx on Kali Linux . We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install clisp-module-clx Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install clisp-module-clx using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install clisp-module-clx
Install clisp-module-clx Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install clisp-module-clx using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install clisp-module-clx
Install clisp-module-clx Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install clisp-module-clx using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install clisp-module-clx
How To Uninstall clisp-module-clx on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the clisp-module-clx package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove clisp-module-clx
Uninstall clisp-module-clx And Its Dependencies
To uninstall clisp-module-clx and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove clisp-module-clx
Remove clisp-module-clx Configurations and Data
To remove clisp-module-clx configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge clisp-module-clx
Remove clisp-module-clx configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove clisp-module-clx configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge clisp-module-clx
