How To Install clipit on Debian 10

In this tutorial we learn how to install clipit on Debian 10.
What is clipit
clipit is:
Clipboard manager with features such as:
- Save history of your last copied items
- Search through the history
- Global hotkeys for most used functions
- Execute actions with clipboard items
- Exclude specific items from history
ClipIt was forked from Parcellite and adds many bugfixes and features to the project. For a full list of changes see either the ChangeLog in the package or http://clipit.rspwn.com/changelog/
There are three methods to install clipit on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install clipit Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install clipit using apt-get by running the following command:
