How To Install cl-trivial-backtrace on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install cl-trivial-backtrace
on Kali Linux.
What is cl-trivial-backtrace
One of the many things that didn’t quite get into the Common Lisp standard was how to get a Lisp to output its call stack when something has gone wrong. As such, each Lisp has developed its own notion of what to display, how to display it, and what sort of arguments can be used to customize it. trivial-backtrace is a simple solution to generating a backtrace portably.
It supports Allegro Common Lisp, LispWorks, ECL, MCL, SCL, SBCL and CMUCL.
There are three ways to install cl-trivial-backtrace
on Kali Linux . We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install cl-trivial-backtrace Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install cl-trivial-backtrace
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install cl-trivial-backtrace
Install cl-trivial-backtrace Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install cl-trivial-backtrace
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install cl-trivial-backtrace
Install cl-trivial-backtrace Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install cl-trivial-backtrace
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install cl-trivial-backtrace
How To Uninstall cl-trivial-backtrace on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the cl-trivial-backtrace
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove cl-trivial-backtrace
Uninstall cl-trivial-backtrace And Its Dependencies
To uninstall cl-trivial-backtrace
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove cl-trivial-backtrace
Remove cl-trivial-backtrace Configurations and Data
To remove cl-trivial-backtrace
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge cl-trivial-backtrace
Remove cl-trivial-backtrace configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove cl-trivial-backtrace
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge cl-trivial-backtrace
