How To Install cl-tf on Kali Linux

Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install cl-tf on Kali Linux.

What is cl-tf

cl-tf is:

tf is a package that lets the user keep track of multiple coordinate frames over time. tf maintains the relationship between coordinate frames in a tree structure buffered in time, and lets the user transform points, vectors, etc between any two coordinate frames at any desired point in time.

This package contains the LISP bindings (messages and services) and is part of Robot OS (ROS).

There are three methods to install cl-tf on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install cl-tf Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install cl-tf using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install cl-tf

sudo apt-get -y purge cl-tf
