How To Install cl-quicklisp on Kali Linux

on Kali Linux.
What is cl-quicklisp
Once installed, Quicklisp can download, install, and load over 1,500 Common Lisp libraries with a few simple Lisp commands. It currently works with ABCL, Allegro CL, Clasp, Clozure CL, CLISP, CMUCL, ECL, LispWorks, MKCL, SBCL, and Scieneer CL.
There are three ways to install cl-quicklisp
on Kali Linux . We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install cl-quicklisp Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install cl-quicklisp
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install cl-quicklisp
Install cl-quicklisp Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install cl-quicklisp
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install cl-quicklisp
Install cl-quicklisp Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install cl-quicklisp
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install cl-quicklisp
How To Uninstall cl-quicklisp on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the cl-quicklisp
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove cl-quicklisp
Uninstall cl-quicklisp And Its Dependencies
To uninstall cl-quicklisp
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove cl-quicklisp
Remove cl-quicklisp Configurations and Data
To remove cl-quicklisp
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge cl-quicklisp
Remove cl-quicklisp configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove cl-quicklisp
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge cl-quicklisp
