What is cl-local-time

cl-local-time is:

local-time is a development library for manipulating date and time information in a semi-standard manner. It is based almost entirely off of Erik Naggum’s paper, The Long, Painful History of Time.

It includes such features as: Time and date arithmetic, ISO 8601 timestring formatted output and parsing, Reader macros to embed timestrings directly in code, Timezone handling (will read unix tzfile format), Conversion between universal and unix time epochs, Julian date calculation.

There are three methods to install cl-local-time on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install cl-local-time Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install cl-local-time using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install cl-local-time

Install cl-local-time Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install cl-local-time using apt by running the following command:

Install cl-local-time Using aptitude
