How To Install cl-bond on Kali Linux

What is cl-bond

This package is part of Robot OS (ROS). This is the ‘bond’ process state machine library LISP bindings.
Bond is a mechanism for checking when another process has terminated. A bond allows two processes, A and B, to know when the other has terminated, either cleanly or by crashing. The bond remains connected until it is either broken explicitly or until a heartbeat times out.
There are three methods to install cl-bond on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install cl-bond Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install cl-bond using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install cl-bondInstall cl-bond Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the cl-bond package we can use the following command:

To uninstall cl-bond and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove cl-bondRemove cl-bond Configurations and Data
To remove cl-bond configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge cl-bondRemove cl-bond configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
