How To Install cl-actionlib on Debian 10

What is cl-actionlib

This package is part of Robot OS (ROS). The actionlib stack provides a standardized interface for interfacing with preemptable tasks. Examples of this include moving the base to a target location, performing a laser scan and returning the resulting point cloud, detecting the handle of a door, etc.
This package contains the LISP binding.
There are three methods to install cl-actionlib on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install cl-actionlib Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install cl-actionlib using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install cl-actionlib

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install cl-actionlib using apt by running the following command:

Install cl-actionlib Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install cl-actionlib using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install cl-actionlib
How To Uninstall cl-actionlib on Debian 10
To uninstall only the cl-actionlib package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove cl-actionlib
Uninstall cl-actionlib And Its Dependencies
To uninstall cl-actionlib and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 10, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove cl-actionlib
Remove cl-actionlib Configurations and Data
To remove cl-actionlib configuration and data from Debian 10 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge cl-actionlib
