The generated parser is a regular expression scanner provided by the http://weitz.de/cl-ppcre/ lib, which means that we can’t parse recursive grammar definition. One such definition is the ABNF definition as given by the RFC. Fortunately, as you have this lib, you most probably don’t need to generate another parser to handle that particular ABNF grammar.

There are three methods to install cl-abnf on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install cl-abnf Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install cl-abnf using apt-get by running the following command:

How To Uninstall cl-abnf on Ubuntu 22.04

To uninstall only the cl-abnf package we can use the following command:

To uninstall cl-abnf and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove cl-abnf
