How To Install chemeq on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install chemeq
on Kali Linux.
What is chemeq
chemeq is:
chemeq is a basic standalone filter written in C language, flex and bison. It inputs strings like: 2H2 + O2 —> 2 H2O then it outputs LaTeX code and messages about the equilibrium of a chemical reaction.

There are three methods to install chemeq
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get

and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install chemeq Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install chemeq
