How To Install chai on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install chai on Kali Linux.
What is chai
chai is:
Chai is a BDD / TDD assertion library for Node.js and the browser that can be delightfully paired with any javascript testing framework. This library is test framework agnostic.
Test-driven development (TDD) is a software development process that relies on the repetition of a very short development cycle: requirements are turned into very specific test cases, then the software is improved to pass the new tests
BDD of Behavior-Driven Development is an extension of test-driven development that makes use of a simple, domain-specific scripting language (DSL). These DSLs convert structured natural language statements into executable tests.
Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.
There are three methods to install chai on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install chai Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install chai using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install chaiInstall chai Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install chai using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install chaiInstall chai Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install chai using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install chaiHow To Uninstall chai on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the chai package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove chaiUninstall chai And Its Dependencies
To uninstall chai and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove chaiRemove chai Configurations and Data
To remove chai configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge chaiRemove chai configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove chai configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge chaiDependencies
chai have the following dependencies:
