How To Install cfv on Ubuntu 18.04
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install cfv on Ubuntu 18.04.
What is cfv
cfv is:
cfv is a utility to test and create a wide range of checksum verification files. It currently supports testing and creating sfv, sfvmd5, csv, csv2, csv4, md5, bsdmd5, torrent and crc files. Test-only support is available for par, par2.
There are three methods to install cfv on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install cfv Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install cfv using apt-get by running the following command:
