How To Install ceilometer-api on Debian 9

ceilometer-api is:
Ceilometer aims to deliver a Single Point Of Contact for billing systems, providing all the counters they need to establish customer billing, across all current and future OpenStack components. The delivery of counters must be traceable and auditable, the counters must be easily extensible to support new projects, and agents doing data collections should be independent of the overall system.

This package contains the API service.

Install ceilometer-api Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install ceilometer-api
using apt-get

sudo apt-get -y install ceilometer-api

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install ceilometer-api

sudo apt -y install ceilometer-api

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude

After updating apt database, We can install ceilometer-api
using aptitude
