How To Install carton on Debian 10

In this tutorial we learn how to install carton on Debian 10.
What is carton
carton is:
carton is a command line tool to track the Perl module dependencies for your Perl application. The required dependencies are managed through a file named cpanfile and tracked through the carton.lock file. It makes deployments easier and allows other developers of your application to have the exact same versions of the modules.
There are three methods to install carton on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install carton Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install carton using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install carton
Install carton Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install carton using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install carton
Install carton Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install carton using aptitude by running the following command:

How To Uninstall carton on Debian 10
