How To Install cardpeek-data on Debian 10

The goal of cardpeek is to allow smartcard owners to be better informed about what type of personal information is stored in these devices. The tool currently reads the contents of :

- Electronic/Biometric passports in BAC security mode
It can also read the following cards with limited interpretation of data:
- Some Mifare cards (such as the Thalys card)

This package contains architecture independent data files for cardpeek.
There are three methods to install cardpeek-data
on Debian 10. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install cardpeek-data Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install cardpeek-data
