CamlIDL generates stub code for interfacing Caml with C from an IDL description of the C functions. Thus, CamlIDL automates the most tedious task in interfacing C libraries with Caml programs.

It can also be used to interface Caml programs with other languages, as long as those languages have a well-defined C interface.

This package contains the CamlIDL executable.

There are three methods to install camlidl on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install camlidl Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install camlidl using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install camlidl

Install camlidl Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install camlidl using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install camlidl

Install camlidl Using aptitude

sudo apt-get -y autoremove camlidl

Remove camlidl Configurations and Data

To remove camlidl configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge camlidl
