CalculiX is a free and open source finite element analysis application that uses a similar input format to Abaqus. It has an implicit and explicit solver and a pre and post processor (CGX). This package contains the solver CalculiX CrunchiX (cxx).

There are three methods to install calculix-ccx on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install calculix-ccx Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install calculix-ccx using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt update
