How To Install calc-dev on Debian 11

What is calc-dev
calc-dev is:
This package contains the library libcalc.a and the necessary header files which provide routines to handle arbitrary precision arithmetic with integers, rational numbers, or complex numbers. There are also many numeric functions such as factorial and gcd, along with some transcendental functions such as sin and exp.
This library is also used by the commandline calculator calc', which is provided in the Debian package calc'.
There are three methods to install calc-dev on Debian 11. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install calc-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install calc-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install calc-dev

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install calc-dev using apt by running the following command:

Install calc-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
