How To Install caja-gtkhash on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install caja-gtkhash on Kali Linux.
What is caja-gtkhash
The GtkHash extension for caja which allows users to compute message digests or checksums using the mhash library. Currently supported hash functions include MD5, MD6, SHA1, SHA256, SHA512, RIPEMD, TIGER and WHIRLPOOL.
There are three ways to install caja-gtkhash on Kali Linux . We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install caja-gtkhash Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install caja-gtkhash using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install caja-gtkhash

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
