How To Install cairomm-doc on CentOS 7

on CentOS 7.
What is cairomm-doc
This package contains developer’s documentation for the cairomm library. Cairomm is the C++ API for the cairo graphics library. The documentation can be viewed either through the devhelp documentation browser or through a web browser. If using a web browser the documentation is installed in the gtk-doc hierarchy and can be found at /usr/share/doc/cairomm-1.0
We can use yum
or dnf
to install cairomm-doc
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install cairomm-doc.
Install cairomm-doc on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install cairomm-doc
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install cairomm-doc
Install cairomm-doc on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install cairomm-doc
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install cairomm-doc
How To Uninstall cairomm-doc on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the cairomm-doc
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove cairomm-doc
