How To Install byacc on Kali Linux

What is byacc
byacc is:
This package provides a parser generator utility that reads a grammar specification from a file and generates an LR(1) parser for it. The parsers consist of a set of LALR(1) parsing tables and a driver routine written in the C programming language. It has a public domain license which includes the generated C.
There are three methods to install byacc
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install byacc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install byacc
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install byacc

After updating apt database, We can install byacc
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install byacc
Install byacc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install byacc
using aptitude

sudo aptitude -y install byacc
How To Uninstall byacc on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the byacc
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove byacc

sudo apt-get -y autoremove byacc
