Bucardo uses PL/pgSQL and Pl/PerlU triggers to send notification events to a daemon, which replicates the data modifications, and Bucardo provides both standard and custom conflict resolution methods.

There are three methods to install bucardo on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install bucardo Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
