How To Install bouncy on Debian 9

In this tutorial we learn how to install bouncy on Debian 9.
What is bouncy
bouncy is:
You play Bouncy the Hungry Rabbit. You’re in a garden with yummy veggies and a farmer who’s not keen on you eating them. You can hide (and move around) under the ground.
Bouncy was written so it could be enjoyed by the author’s daughter, who was about to turn 3, and by older gamers. Hence it’s not a violent game and “easy” is really, really easy, and “hard” is challenging.
There are three methods to install bouncy on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install bouncy Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install bouncy using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install bouncy
Install bouncy Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install bouncy using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install bouncy
Install bouncy Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install bouncy using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install bouncy
How To Uninstall bouncy on Debian 9
To uninstall only the bouncy package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove bouncy
Uninstall bouncy And Its Dependencies
To uninstall bouncy and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove bouncy
Remove bouncy Configurations and Data
To remove bouncy configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge bouncy
