How To Install bmon on AlmaLinux 8
Introduction

What is bmon
bmon is a monitoring and debugging tool to capture networking related statistics and prepare them visually in a human friendly way. It features various output methods including an interactive curses user interface and a programmable text output for scripting.
We can use yum or dnf to install bmon on AlmaLinux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install bmon.
Install bmon on AlmaLinux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install bmon using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install bmon
Install bmon on AlmaLinux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install bmon using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install bmon
How To Uninstall bmon on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the bmon package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove bmon
