How To Install bloodhound on Kali Linux

What is bloodhound

This package contains BloodHound, a single page Javascript web application. BloodHound uses graph theory to reveal the hidden and often unintended relationships within an Active Directory environment. Attackers can use BloodHound to easily identify highly complex attack paths that would otherwise be impossible to quickly identify. Defenders can use BloodHound to identify and eliminate those same attack paths. Both blue and red teams can use BloodHound to easily gain a deeper understanding of privilege relationships in an Active Directory environment.
There are three methods to install bloodhound on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install bloodhound Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install bloodhound using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install bloodhoundInstall bloodhound Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install bloodhound using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install bloodhoundInstall bloodhound Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install bloodhound using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install bloodhoundHow To Uninstall bloodhound on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the bloodhound package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove bloodhoundUninstall bloodhound And Its Dependencies
To uninstall bloodhound and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove bloodhoundRemove bloodhound Configurations and Data
To remove bloodhound configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge bloodhoundRemove bloodhound configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
