How To Install binutils-arm-none-eabi on Ubuntu 20.04

binutils-arm-none-eabi is:
Bare metal binutils for embedded ARM chips using Cortex-M0/M0+/M3/M4 and Cortex-R4/R5/R7 processors. The programs in this package are used to manipulate binary and object files that may have been created for Cortex architecture.
There are three methods to install binutils-arm-none-eabi on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install binutils-arm-none-eabi Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install binutils-arm-none-eabi using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install binutils-arm-none-eabi

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install binutils-arm-none-eabi using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install binutils-arm-none-eabi
Install binutils-arm-none-eabi Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install binutils-arm-none-eabi using aptitude by running the following command:

To remove binutils-arm-none-eabi configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge binutils-arm-none-eabi

We can use the following command to remove binutils-arm-none-eabi configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge binutils-arm-none-eabi
